Life Celebration Chaplain overview
The Life Celebration Chaplain® (LCC) training and certification is a unique, one of a kind certification offered only through LCCI. The brand was created by the internationally recognized Life Celebration team of Wayne and Rosanne Prevett. Wayne and Rosanne have unmatched Life Celebration experience and are industry leaders in the world of Life Celebrations. Over the past twenty plus years, together, they have lead over 4000 Life Celebrations, lead a team of over 100 Officiants/Chaplains and certified over 1500 individuals. LCC brand is a registered trademark and unique only to those who become members of LCCI.
Life Celebration Chaplain training and certification requires each qualifying person to attend training in all three Life Celebration disciplines, weddings, funerals/memorials and new life celebrations. Training also includes a very specific module on Chaplaincy in a post-Christian culture.
Because each Life Celebration, or rite of passage is unique, so is the training. However, as different as each celebration may be, the common consistency is every Life Celebration requires someone to lead and guide family and friends through the moment.
Training is offered on weekends, five to seven times a year. Training begins on a Friday morning and ends on the Sunday of the same weekend.
On Friday we cover the basics of being a professional Wedding Officiant. At the end of Friday we will spend an hour learning how to lead an effective, life inspiring New Life celebration. Saturday and Sunday are fully devoted to leading life changing funeral and memorial services. The times are 9am-3pm on all three days. At the end of the training you will be fully certified as a Life Celebration Chaplain with LCCI.
